Prayer
The Jesus Is Lord Church congregation meets at 7:30 pm every Monday night for prayer. During this time, we pray for our families, the community, and the nation. We also make phone calls to people who are housebound or hospitalized and pray with them believing God for their miracle.
Crossfire
Crossfire, the Jesus Is Lord Church Youth Group, meets at 7:30 pm every Saturday night. It is open to everyone from the age of 13 to 29. Youth from the surrounding communities gather together in the main sanctuary and lift praises unto God, to the music of their own youth band. Following the service, the youth have time to hang out in the fellowship hall, where there is a snack bar and activities. Women's Ministry
Heart to Heart, the Jesus Is Lord Church women’s meeting, is held a number of times throughout the year. Dates and times will be posted on the Calendar of Events link as they are scheduled. United Steppers The United Steppers, the Jesus Is Lord Church step team, minister on occasions throughout the year at our regular services and also at area functions. This group is made up of youth who are excited about the things of God and want to use their talents for the Lord. Choir
The Jesus Is Lord Church choir sings in both our Sunday morning and Thursday night services. The choir practices on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm. In order to join the choir, you must be attending the church for at least six months and be able to sing. Auditions are required. School Of Ministry
The Jesus Is Lord Church School of Ministry is held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:00 am. Special guest ministries as well as our own leadership share God’s word and we go out as a group to evangelise our local community. Check our Calendar of events for start dates. |
